Relations between the subjective sense of the impact of the financial crisis and identity dimensions are examined. The participants of the research were 120 high school students – 60 women and 60 men. The analysis of the literature on the subject allowed to state specific relationships between selected variables. Relationships between the dimensions of identity development and the content of future goals were found. Indeed, gender and type of school are correlated here. It seems advisable to continue the research program in terms of the systemic assessment of the crisis and psychological functioning of young people in this context, because there are many questions that we have no answer at this moment.
