Streszczenia

This paper focuses on evaluating the integral development speed generated by any industrial revolution from a methodological (quantitative and qualitative) point of view. Now, this paper can analyse any industrial revolution, from the first to any future ones. Therefore, this paper proposes a new indicator entitled “The Industrial Revolution Integral Development Speed Index (IRIDS-Index).” The IRIDS-Index incorporates all economic, social, political, and technological factors to measure the integral development speed of any society resulting from an industrial revolution at different stages. Additionally, this model can analytically study any industrial revolution, evaluating its past causes and future effects on society, anywhere and anytime. Hence, this research evaluates past and present industrial revolutions (from the first industrial revolution to the fourth industrial revolution). Additionally, this paper elaborates on three possible future industrial revolution scenarios: the fifth industrial revolution, the sixth industrial revolution, and the seventh industrial revolution. However, this paper focuses on the exploration and prediction of potential scenarios for the seventh industrial revolution. Our research foresees that by the year 2070, a paradigm shift in production and consumption models will manifest, characterized by the adoption of clean energy sources and mechanisms, new specialized labour divisions and specializations, advanced autonomous production systems under robotics and Full Autonomous Artificial Intelligence (FAAI), environmentally friendly products designed for easy recycling, and the implementation of cost-effective mass transportation systems never before experienced by the humanity.
