The issue of divorce is constantly the subject of research of scientists dealing with issues related to family life, which confirms the number of more than 2,000 publications in the last decade (Amato, 2010). Annually in the United States, 2% of all marriages end with divorce. Demographic forecasts, on the other hand, suggest that 43 to 46% of current marriages will end with divorce (Schoen, Canudas-Romo, 2006). The likelihood of breakups the marriages and cohabitation relations in the United States is greater than in any other countries. More than 1/5 of American marriages are divorced during the first 5 years of marriage, which is twice as much as in other western countries.
